Assessing the ASN bank investment portfolio

In 2014 ASN, committed to obtaining a net positive biodiversity impact in its portfolio; CREM and PRé developed the first version of the BFFI method. Since then the method is continuously being improved with more up-to-date and granular data; improved models to quantify the impact; additional asset classes; and more efficient and automated procedures.

The most important steering parameter for portfolio managers is the impact per invested euro. In the methodology section we describe why the unit of impact is expressed in m2
